Re: Interview with Janine Gregor of Your Virtual Wizard
VACareer,
I developed business policies over time and often would add them to my contract as a result of problems which should have been included in my contract in the first place! Trial and error!
For example, I quoted someone rates in May and they took over 30 days to respond back to me. I had actually moved on but when the client contacted me in June, I had raised my rates across the board. All new clients effective June 1st were brought on at the higher rate.
So now when I quote a rate, I say that it is good for 30 days. If I offer a discount on a referral, I indicate, "Good for 30 days".
For that situation, as it turns out, I came here and my fellow VAs advised that I honor the old rate for 3 months which I did.
