I don't know if this helps, because I am also new to this. I have in place a Contract, Client Confidentiality and Non-Complete Contract, invoice, in-take sheet, and Independent Contractor contracts. I used all my resources, lawyer friends, and purchased one form from the Virtual Chamber of Commerce. I used existing non-compete clauses from contract work I had done and mergered them with forms other VA's shared. Of course you have to tweak them for your state and local business laws.
These are really important because they protect you, protect your clients confidentiality, sometime help avoid misunderstandings, and work in the legal system. You'll need other forms if you use Independent Contractors or employees. I consulted with my local Secretary of State, tax commision, the IRS, and my tax guy.
