Just curious if you had your contract reviewed by legal counsel prior to using it for the first time or at any point in the course of business? I get so nervous when it comes to contracts.
I'd say that it's better to have your contract reviewed by a lawyer or paralegal because you might have omitted or overlooked something very important and might be prejudicial to your cause later on. As the saying goes, it's better be safe than sorry.
I would be willing to bet that 99% of VAs have NOT had a professional person in the legal industry (of ANY capacity) review their documentation.
Not sure what that means - there are a lot of 'standard' contract outlines out there - we even have many here on this site, in the Document Library - I think most people assume they are sound.
