1) Place your signature on a blank sheet of paper
2) Scan the paper with your signature
3) Use your software that came with the scanner to crop the blank parts of the paper and select your signature
4) After you select your signature, save it as a .jpg file.
When you are ready to apply your signature to a document (I presume your contracts are in Word format), open the .jpg file and place it on the signature line of your contract.
I have looked into EchoSign and think it will do the trick. I am very glad to have learned there's another option to using an online service. I think I will start with the pdf/jpg method.

The only thing is, what's to stop someone using Snipping Tool and then adding your sig to random documents? (not a criticism, a genuine question!)
