Hi everyone! Just wanted your thoughts on my biz name & tagline:
Brown Bee Virtual Support-Managing your buzz online & on time!

There IS a sort of back story to my choice. Some of my fondest memories are of helping my Dad keep honey bees. I learned a lot about hard work, working together and perseverance from both Dad AND the bees. An office is often a hive of activity, hence the tagline. At any rate, I sure appreciate your feedback!

I like it! However I've never heard of a brown bee...only honey bees and killer bees....

Without knowing what you specialise in I would hazard a guess it's assisting clients with setting up Social Networking based on your tagline.
And that you would specifically support Online business owners due to being Virtual "Support".

Just my initial thoughts, hope it's what you're looking for.

Hi Andrea,

I like the name you came up with. As far as the tag line: Managing your buzz online & on time! I do think of managing a business's online presence when I read your tagline (whether they are a brick or mortar business or not...as many businesses have presence online and off). If that is what you are going for..awesome! If not, than you may want to tweak the tagline just a bit.

As an aside, I really love the fact that you came up with your business name due to fond memories of helping your dad with his bee keeping. Very sweet and I think it sets a nice tone for your new business:)

Hmmm.....maybe I need to consider changing both....I was looking at it from the angle of the virtual support or assistance coming from me via the Net...not necessarily restricting that support to the niche of online businesses only. Thanks ladies....thinking cap's back on and I'm sitting at the drawing board! lol

Hi,

Since you mention "hive of activity", you may want to include that (or some connection to a hive) in your tag line -- which can be broad enough to cover working on the net and still cover your concept of connecting with bees.

Just thoughts,

I agree that you may want to tweak the "buzz" part a little. I didn't understand what it meant until I read some of the other responses.

Thank you all for your input! This little dilemma is something I'm continuing to work on, so I can have all my ducks in a row.)

The story of your dad and the bees is a very important part of your marketing. Make sure it appears in any of your marketing tools. The term 'buzz' does make people think of online marketing. It doesn't need to limit you though. However, I'd suggest you try to niche yourself there and use the 'buzz'!

To be honest I thought the word 'buzz' was a play on biz (as in business) online and thought it was great - I love it nice catchphrase.
