"Software as a service [...] is a model of software deployment where an application is hosted as a service provided to customers across the Internet."

1. Fear the Hacker:"FeedJournal will not be reverse-engineered!"

2. Fear the Cracker:"FeedJournal's registration system cannot be cracked!"

3. Finance:"The monthly sales are stable!"

4. Usage Statistics:"I know how many users generate a newspaper each day, and which functions people use!"

5. Catching Bugs:"If something bad happens in the software, I'll be the first to know!"

6. Deployment:"Prospects can start to use the software within 20 seconds of landing on feedjournal.com!"

7. End-User Configurations:"Linux or Mac? No .NET/Java framework installed? I don't care!"

8. License Registration:"The serial number will never again be caught by the spam filter!"

9. The Multi-Computer User:"Users can generate their newspaper from any Internet café!"

10. Always Connected:"The end of 'Cannot connect to the Internet' problems!"

I personally use Billings on my Mac. It is very easy to track and invoice.

I just started using Paymo and so far I like it. The reports are lacking a bit, but they give you the info you need. I like that I can download a desktop widget so I don't have to log-in online every time, but that I can log-in online if I am out of the office.

I like MyHours too, but MyHours just goes down too much. I need something more reliable.

I use quickbooks and love it. It incorporates all your business needs in one package and is very flexible.

I use timetracker through quickbooks for a client, but use a spreadsheet to track time for the rest of my clients. I use the timer from time tracker and just enter the time in my spreadsheet with a note as to services performed. It seems to work well and everyone is happy with the results.

I exported the report from MyHours into Excel, edited what I didn't want the client to see (exact time of day worked) and attached as a PDF to my invoice.

Very efficient software which I discovered from this great forum!
Thanks, Kim! This info is helpful! Much appreciated.
