So far I like using Paymo Time Tracker. For me it is fairly straight forward and easy to use.

I just tried Time Stamp and myhours.com and have found that myhours works the best for me. It allows multiple projects and tasks, allows you to add clients and exports to Excel.

My client was very impressed with the Excel sheet detailing my work on his projects and he has a clear picture of how his money is being used.

I have downloaded a couple of these programs to see which one works best. Thank you all for these suggestions, especially the free ones, seeing as how I have had to purchase a lot of other products for my business. I love this community for all of the help it gives.

I'm currently testing Myhours.

So far, I find it okay to use. I'm using this for my direct client.

Me & my colleagues are setting up a company right now so I'm trying to look for the best possible Time Management tool to use. It would be better if it's free so we don't need to shell out money. I'll check out OfficeTime & Paymo. If it's software based I need something that's Mac compatible, because I use a Mac.

Thanks everyone! This is great information. I just signed a contract to transcribe minutes for a city council and they want time tracking. This will be MOST beneficial!

I personally like Freshbooks and Aceprojects. I use Freshbooks for time tracking and use aceprojects for task tracking. You can track your time in Freshbooks and then manually enter it into Aceprojects. I think the combination of both are really good.

Two consultants I know have recommended Quickbooks to me. However, I'm just starting up, only have one client, and wanted a less expensive solution. Freshbooks seems like it will be perfect for me!
