I spent all day yesterday looking at time tracking & billing solutions and I feel like I got nowhere!

I signed up for the free trial account for several programs and didn't find anything that fits my needs, so I was hoping maybe someone who uses what I'm looking for might read this and tell me what it is!

My requirements are:

Must be a cloud (internet) application - no desktop software.

Must let me log time without having to assign it to a task - just enter the number of hours and a description of work performed.

Needs a semi-robust reporting feature that will allow me to pull custom reports on # of hours logged to a certain project during a certain time period, billable time vs. non-billable, etc.

Customizable invoicing - must let me get rid of columns/fields I don't need and will show the descriptions from my time entries.

If anyoone knows of an application like this, please let me know!

I have been researching the same type of applications I have yet to find one that I like as well. There was a thread in some of the older posts about different applications but I can't remember where I saw it. There was a list of several different ones you could use but I am sure you have probably seen them already. If I find anything like what you are looking for as I do my research I will post it. Try OfficeTime. It allows you options to track time and expenses. You can use the timer or just enter your time and assign projects and clients as need be. There is an invoicing feature which you can customize through Word.

OfficeTime requires that you download software. I need a cloud application.

During my research, i came across an online invoicing software by Intuit: https://billingmanager.intuit.com/bi...icing-tour.url. I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but if you haven't researched it already, it may be worth checking out.

I tried every single cloud app listed on timetrackingresources.com and have settled on Harvest. It doesn't do exactly what I want, but comes far closer than anything else and I think I am going to be happy with it.
