Not sure where to post this as I am sure there is a thread on it somewhere I just havent found it yet. Does anyone have a template or know where I can get one for time tracking? I have to provide my time spent on a monthly basis and would like something professional and that people find has worked well - since it is my first job!

I use Paymo for tracking time on the work I do for my clients. It generates a PDF that I can email the client that shows my notes on what I was working on and what all was involved in completing the jobs. I have found it so useful. Plus, my client is blind, and she able to read the document which helps a lot and I do not have to explain over and over again what it was we did for that week. I update her weekly since it is easier for her to read a weekly review rather than a monthly review. Every client will be different and that is what makes Paymo a great tool for me.

Andrea, I've heard lots on VA's talk about Paymo so I think it's quite popular in our industry. They also have a freebie account I believe.

There are many programs and sites to track your time. I found and love My Hours you can track your time, projects, by client, by task and more.

Just last week I found you can set-up a company and invite others to your company to include their time as well. I use it with my sub-contractors and not only get reports for clients but to analyze my business as well.
