Default Time Clock
Does anyone know of a free to very low cost time clock that allows employees to clock in/out at a computer. Data can only be accessed by administrator.

I had one at one time but over the years lost it.

At my last job, my boss had us signin and out of a system called ADP. Im not sure of the cost and it does do more than just sign in and out employees. Just a suggestion. Check it out, maybe it has some extras you could use or maybe you can buy a smaller version. hope this helps

Thanks, Virtual Jane, for the suggestion; but, unfortunately, ADP client base is for a much larger number of employees. My friend needs something that will handle ten or fewer employees and since her organization is a non-profit is inexpensive.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Have you checked into myhours.com? I'm not sure how it works for a group but it appears to be marketed to teams and groups using it. At least it's free!!

Thanks, BoostVirtualServices, for the suggestion; but my friend needs something that is not web based and is primarily a time clock. She doesn't need to know what her employees are doing minute by minute. She just needs to know when they clock in, go to and from lunch, and when they end the day.

I'm not sure what you mean by low cost but there's http://www.timeclick.com/
and Virtual Time Clock http://www.redcort.com/timeclock/?gc...FVTDtgodeh4EXA. The basic version of VTC is $99.00.

Time Clock Pearl starts at about $59.00 http://www.timeclockpearl.com/?utm_s...FcFeTAod5ypJHw

And here's a list of free timeclock shareware http://employee-time-clock.winsite.com/freeware/
