Default Paymo Time Tracking
Hello everyone!

Has anyone tried using Paymo Time tracking feature? For now, it looks neat and I like how the reports print out. Just wanted to see if any other VAs have used this and what their thoughts were. Thanks!

I don't use this but did evaluate it recently and found it to be straightforward and easy to use although I'm not sure if VAs who are used to the more 'complicated' time tracking programs would find it adequate? I'm curious to know what others have thought of Paymo in comparison to some of the other programs as well. It's a great free option though!

Here's a link for anyone who hasn't checked it out: http://www.paymo.biz/

I've been using PayMo for some time now, in fact since I found it here when having trouble with another system.

Some features I like:
1) I can enter as many clients and activities that I want
2) It reminds me when I've stopped working but forgot to stop the timer, and asks if I want to stop timer at tha time.
3) I can run reports for a day, a single client, a single task.
4) I can add tasks on the fly if I want.
5) it has a desktop interface, I don't have to log into the site to time anything.

Some things I don't like
1) the weeks are Monday-Sunday, instead of Sunday to Saturday because I do work weekends.
2) I can't save that particular time setting for future reports (Sunday to Saturday)
3) it doesn't interface with QuickBooks.

All in all, I like it better than MyHours, it seems much more stable, and is easier to use.

I switched to Paymo a few months ago because MyHours was frequently going down and I needed something more reliable. I like that Paymo has a desktop feature so I don't have to login to the website to use it everytime. I wish the reports were more customizable but other than that I think Paymo has served its purpose well.

I also switched to PayMo because I was having trouble to MyHours and so far I like it. It also has an invoice feature that I like.

I believe you can set Paymo to run a report that is Sunday to Saturday. If you click on custom and then click on the little calendar next to the date box, then you can select a specific start date and a specific end date. You can't save that as a preset though- which I do wish for.

Thank you as well. I've been doing my reporting via excel. While it works, it's not the best for making double sure I'm being accurate, especially when doing multiple projects in a day. I'll have to check this out.
