I use OfficeTime for tracking time spent on projects.

It's very user friendly. It allows you to track multiple projects, hourly rates per project so you can see how much your time is worth, expenses per project and detailed notes.

It has advanced reporting features compared to other software I have used. Pie charts show your percentage of time spent on projects/non billable tasks so you can monitor where your time has gone. And there's lots more features ...

You can download a free trial to see if it suits you. I highly recommend it. There is a small price to pay but I think it's worth it.

Thank you, Kels! I have been using yaTimer, but downloaded the trial for Office Time to try it out. It is more expensive than yaTimer was, but it looks like it has some really great features, more than what yaTimer has.

I LOVE my OfficeTime! It's worth the money - for me anyhow. The reporting is great & invoicing is a breeze. One word of advice though... when you go to create an invoice for a client, if their name, or their company name has the slash character "/" (ie. RE/MAX) in it, just leave it out, otherwise the invoice won't create for some reason. The OT team is trying to figure out a work-around for it, but I don't think it works yet. So, during creation of the invoice, leave that slash out, but then when the MS Word invoice file opens up, you can edit that any way you like. Not sure if anyone else has had that issue, but just in case...

Oh I love this program too. I switched to this after having lots of issues with myhours and will never go back. I especially love the rounding feature for it makes billing a breeze. Each week I send my retainers an updated time record via the invoice (just uncheck the marked billed) feature and end of month billing takes no time at all. Definitely worth the cost.

I looked high and low for a invoicing/timekeeping program and discovered Office Time. It is a great program and the investment was well worth it for me. I especially like that it is a one-time investment as so many of the other programs require monthly subscriptions. It's a great program!

It seems like a great program. I was looking for something that could run in both windows and linux. It works with wine and I can't wait for the Linux version to come out!

I use Toggle.com. It is free and allows me to do various reports. I will have to check out OfficeTime though. Never can have enough options! Thanks for the suggestion.
