Planning on spending 15-20 hours a week on this at first and build it from there. I am sure I could put more hours to it but need to spend some time with my family also.
I am just starting out and only have one client. His work is not steady..
I hope to be able to bill 20-30 hours per week...
Looking for more clients....
Currently, I downsized a bit during the summer and have been doing about 15-20 billable hours weekly. Once kids are back in school in August, I'll ramp up again and try to shoot for 30 billable hours average.
I just started my own business, so log about 2-5 billable hours per week. I am optimistic that it will pick up soon. I have already been sent two referrals!
I typically bill out approximately 20 hours per week right now. I'm thinking of looking for another client to hopefully get me to about 30 hours per week.
I can completely relate. The few clients I do have currently do not have steady hours, either. Keep chugging along, we will all get what we deserve shortly!

My hours vary by week, I am hoping to get to 30 hours per week soon but so far I am only at around 10 - sometimes 15 but no steady clients yet....I have been sent two referrals so i am hoping for more!

What Book are you talking about? If I may ask. I only have one client and a few inquiries. I know it takes time and patience - but how did you built your clientel?

I am just starting out with my VA business; however, I have been telecommuting for the last two years. I currently work 40 hours per week. My goal is to build up to 20 hours per week of billable hours with my VA business. Additionally, my plan is to convert my employer to a client within the next year.
I'm working about 40 - 50 hours per week. Have only been in business since last winter but am billing out 10 hours per week so far - my goal is 30 hours per week and then working up to having a multi VA business. I am doing all lot of networking which is starting to pay off.
Since I just started I work about 2-5 billable hours per week and then endless hours just setting up the business. I hope to increase the billable to 15-25 a week.
