I love Freshbooks too! I also use Outright and Shoeboxed which all integrate nicely together (although I've been really bad about expenses and scanning receipts. Luckily I have very few at this point).

Freshbooks for time tracking and invoicing
Shoeboxed for receipts
Outright for accounting

I'm still using the free version because I really don't need anymore than that. I hope to one day have the need to upgrade, though

I also use Freshbooks and I love it. YOu can also except payments through paypal and stuff if you sign up for it. I don't have it yet but I plan on it. But I love the fact that my clients can log on and see exactly what hours and what projects I did.

I've just started using Freshbooks. My favorite bit so far is the Dashboard widget timer that tracks my time from my desktop. I've taken a lot of client calls today and I just hit the timer button as I pick up the phone to track my client time!

Thank you all for the recommendations and the add-ons you use with Freshbooks. This is definitely my next experiment with new software.

Looks VERY cool! For those of you on the Seedling plan -- is that 25 active clients or just 25 clients total?

It's 20 active clients. I would say over the time, if I went into my archived clients I'm close to 50ish clients, but only have 16 set as active right now. What's nice about it is I'll archive a client after I finish a project for them and then when they come back I just reactivate them.

If you've read any other threads, you might have seen how much I rave about Freshbooks. I'ved tried many others on a trial basis and always stick with Freshbooks. I use Freshbooks as my time tracking, invoicing and expense management program. Freshbooks states that if you have less than 300,000 in revenues you can use Freshbooks as your accounting program and I do and haven't seen a need to move to anything else.

Thanks Renee! I started looking at it (haven't set up the trial yet), and I really like what I have seen so far.

As for having less than $300k in revenue, I should only HOPE that I have that problem and have to move
