Default Why I love Google Chrome - Redhead VA's Biz Bits
I’m a Google Fan in many ways and recently I made the switch to Google Chrome from Firefox as my main web browser. I had planned on making the change a while ago but what held me back was the ability to add extensions (add-ons in Firefox). Recently Google released a beta version that allows for extensions and since I’ve made the chance I’m been incredibly happy!

Why make the move?

I have found Chrome to be fast, clean and easy to look at for a long period of time. Like the... Click here to read the rest of this post at Redhead VA's Biz Bits.

This is so true. I have been using Google Chrome and I prefer it so much more to the other browsers. It is so much faster. I will stick with this. I recommend to everyone.

Well since I wrote the post I'll have to say I agree. I am working hard to move everything to the "clouds" as techies like to say and using Google Chrome makes that possible very easily. I'm loving the extensions that are starting to really roll out and the application short cut option is just simply cool!

Since the announcement of extensions, I've slowly been moving over to chrome and away from firefox as well. Firefox crashes on me too much, but I use both browsers during the day: Chrome for business stuff and tasks at hand, Firefox for personal and stuff I need to look at later (I'm a tab junky).

Oh so am I, I love my tabs. I have 6 of them that open when I start chrome, but if you throw in all of my applications shortcuts on my quick start bar....it's crazy!

I use Firefox which I love compared to IE. Can you transfer bookmarks in Firefox to Chrome easily or is it a pain? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The first time you set up Chrome it asks you if you'd like to import, just like Firefox does and it moved my bookmarks quickly and easily.

Another alternative is to use Xmarks, both an addon for FF and an extension for Chrome. Xmarks will then help to sync both browsers even if you need to bounce back and forth between the two.

I like Google Chrome also but in some cases Firefox is much more stable than Google Chrome, and when in comes to security issues I still prefer to use Firefox than Google eventhough Google Chrome is way faster the Firefox.^_^

I agree with all those who said that Chrome is waaaay faster than Firefox. I had bad experiences with Firefox too...

gbcvirtualoffice, what's the security issues with Chrome? Can you please elaborate. I haven't really research on this software, I just love its speed. hehehehe.

Donna, I'm using PC, haven't tried it on MAC.
