Thought I'd share this for those of you running a team
I came across an impressive HR app which is designed for both small and medium sized businesses who employ staff, but it can also be used for those who sub-contract on a regular basis. It's called TribeHR, one of the benefits is an internal social networking feature. Once you set up a team member they can put in their bank details, address, etc.
You can also upload useful forms, not only for HR purposes but general business use that your employees or team members use regularly. Lastly, which I think is brilliant, employees or team members can login to fill in their time sheet, call in sick with the click of a button, book vacation/holiday time off and view their job progress, as all job/assignment review feedback is all there at a glance.
Also forgot - if you recruit for additional team members you can add each candidate to the area, "star" applicants, drag applicants to the short list area and collaborate with others who are involved in the recruitment/hiring process. The best thing of all is that you can add and remove team members easily, great if you use PA's for a one off gig yet still need to manage them effectively.
I've not seen a HR application like this before (they offer a trial account too).
