Default Software to keep you organised?
Hi All
So I'm getting ready to launch my VA business and one of the issues I know I need to focus on is keeping organised. By nature I'm really not a very organised person and tend to jump around from one thing to the next. I would love to hear how you stay organised and if there is any software you use to assist with this?

Organisemee is good. So is Remember the Milk.

When all else fails, buy a calendar the size of your wall. You can't ignore tasks that big.

Hi Ann,

There are many free tools available depending on your needs. Take a look through http://download.cnet.com/windows/, http://www.completelyfreesoftware.com/ and http://www.tucows.com/.

I love Producteev.com to keep me organzied. When I get an email of something that needs to be handled, I can forward the email to an address at Producteev and a task is automatically created on my Producteev workspace. It is free for up to 2 users per workspace. I have been very happy with it so far.

Zachary, you crack me up!

Anjanette, thanks for the recommendation. I plan to check Producteev.com as well as the ones the others suggested.

I find MS OneNote to be extremely helpful. In fact, I just started using it a few months ago and I've been able to get so much accomplished with regards to establishing my business documentation, policies, marketing goals, etc. But I am an organized person, so creating organization within the OneNote workbooks is kind of fun to me. If you don't have MS OneNote, the alternative is Evernote.

While Evernote isn't in itself a Task Manager, but I use it for that as well as for managing follow ups with clients and so much more. I've come to absolutely love Evernote and the flexibility it has provided me with running my business.

Evernotes search abilities are fantastic and you can organize it anyway you want, I also love that it's with me no matter what, and it all syncs...so it's on my phone, on my tablet and of course my laptop.
