I've been reading articles from Entrepreneur magazine about Virtual Assistants. There's sooo much software available for virtual business support. If you don't mind sharing, does anyone use software other than the MS Office suite? Other than sending email attachments back and forth, how do you collaborate on projects with clients?
I have Skype, to help with communication, probable any video chat system will work. I have also found a couple of online resources that will be helpful like, efax.com ( free faxing site), Backupify ( is a site that will back up your calendars in case they ever get lost) and Zoho.com (to help with invoicies).
I also use Skype. And then I use QuickBooks for my bookkeeping and also one of the online faxing services. I use Basecamp for project collaboration and management. I do some transcription, so I use Express Scribe for that.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head!
