Hi Melissa! I have not had any issues with the free version, although I've only used it for about 2 months now. The one drawback is not having the ability to print from the client's computer to your printer (my work-around is to email what I need to print to myself and then print to my printer). While you're accessing the client's computer they can watch what you're doing and participate, however they cannot use it to work on something else.

Hi, take a look at www.teamviewer.com, it meets the requirements you stated, and it is free. Hope it works for you.

Hi, I use LogMeIn, and I like it too. But one of my clients helped me discover that my HP laptop computer (which runs Vista) comes with a Remote Desktop Connection feature. We've been using that and it works great! And its free!

Any of you that utilize Log Me In -- can you manage their calendars via this program? And can you add multiple clients to your Log Me In account?

I've been using LogMeIn for a couple of years now, and after about a year my boss upgraded to the Pro version. I can't remember if the free version had it as well, but it is possible to "chat" with someone using the computer on-site, and in fact I've had a new of counsel attorney log into one of the computers and then proceeded to mouse/keystroke so she could learn her way around (our system does not seem to have been set up to be intuitive to new remote personnel). When someone has logged into my computer unexpectedly I've opened a notepad window to get their attention and we determined how to best share the computer that day.
