I feel a little ignorant. Can you explain the purpose of that application, please. I don't get why I'd need it. (I'm just not understanding the technology, I think.) I would put those on my flash drive to take with me? Where would I use them?

I'm sure it's a great thing, I just don't "get" it. LOL

Hi Lanel

You would put them on your flash drive and instead of carrying a laptop just plug in your jump drive, so you would need to have access to a computer.

I downloaded portable apps to my thumb drive, and it's quite handy. I keep a thumb drive with this software on my keychain so I'll always have it with me. An example would be if you went out of town and didn't have your laptop with you. You could go to the local library and use their computers and just plug in the thumb drive and use the word processing or spreadsheet software.

Wow, didn't know that sort of thing existed. Sounds interesting though...i'll have to look into it. Is there a fee involved?

This software sounds nice. I am looking for a portable thumb drive for both my Vista (desktop) and XP (laptop). But for Vista I need ReadyBoost which doesnt work if I am working on a computer that has a XP or another OS.
