Default PDF software
Hello all!

Does anyone use PDF995? It says it is free, but that includes sponsor pages. Are those sponsor pages pretty ugly? Has anyone upgraded?

Thanks for your help!

Becky

I have both Adobe's PDF maker and PDF995 and I still use PDF 995 once in a while if I'm really in a hurry and just need a quick basic PDF.
The ads aren't actually on your PDFs - they're just little pop ups that come up when you use the software....not that bad and is what keeps the product *free*

There is also a web based doc to pdf converter at www.pdfonline.com. I have used this several times to convert various documents into pdf form. It will accept .doc or other formats (see pdfonline for info on other formats accepted). I just upload my document, enter my email address and the name for the pdf file, then in a few moments - VIOLA my pdf document is delvered to my email box. It works great.

You can also use Primo PDF. I like it because it doesn't have ads that dominate the page. It is free and I find it to be very reliable.

I use "cute pdf writer" works very well, you can print any document to a PDF file. It's free, no pop ups.

I recently downloaded Adobe Buzzword beta for free, you may want to check this software out, I haven't had a chance to look at it all, but it has some fabulous features that I'm really excited to play with. Here is the site:

I checked out this resource a few months back but didn't download it. It looks like a feasible project management resource and Adobe usually puts out pretty good products. When you have a chance to test it out and play with it, please post back and let us know what you think. It's always good to get a first hand review of a resource that might be beneficial to VAs.
