Default PDF Question
Does anyone know if you can make a whole bunch of documents into 1 PDF form. Even if some are PDF's and some jpeg's and some .doc's? I thought I knew how but I guess I forgot. Or I just don't have the right software as I did in the "office" Any help would be appreicated!

I'm not sure how if they are already pdf's, to add others to it (for free at least) but Microsoft Word has an add-on that enables you to save as a PDF which will work for docs and jpegs.

Thank you April. While I was waiting to hear some feed back I was reading some other threads and Tess mentioned in her " Update your office.." thread ways to not only convert but to add doc's to one single PDF file. It's called PDF995. Sounds great so I downloaded it. I haven't tried it yet but I will let you know. Thanks again for helping!

Just tried it and it worked wonderfully! And it's free. You have to look at sponser pages but the paid version is only 9.95 or the whole suite for 19.95 or 29.95. I believe the 29.95 is for all of thier software programs.

Another really great PDF creater/merger is PDFReDirect.... I love it because not only can I create PDF documents, I can merge them together any way I want... you can download it on CNet... which, by the way, is my favorite place to download software!

Thanks for the great replies on this thread. I have created many pdf (adobe) documents for large reports in the past, but have created the one main document by combining multiple pdf's. That requires first printing everything to pdf, then grouping it together and hoping all the pages get in in the right order. After reading these posts, I'll be checking into the other pdf makers.

Just so you know... with PDFReDirect, you can move your PDF files up and down the list in the order you want them to be when they merge.

It will even allow you to print to PDF on a document, and then add the other documents in so you can do all the steps in one shot!

I'm happy to walk anyone through it... and yes, IT'S TOTALLY FREE!
