Default Payroll software for mutiple businesses
I am looking for a payroll software that I may use for multiple businesses. If anyone knows of one please let me know.

Thanks,
Ann

Default Re: Payroll software for mutiple businesses
Ann,

I currently prepare payroll for several clients. I use two primary software programs (both offered by Intuit which has awesome rockin' support btw):

1. QuickBooks
2. Paycycle.com (which is internet-based and now named something else since it was purchased by Intuit)

NOTE: I use and offer QuickBooks payroll primarily because most of my clients use QuickBooks for their other business books (some of which I also prepare). Plus I'm a Pro Advisor and also offer QuickBooks setup, support, and training.

However, while researching QuickBooks Online I came across Paycycle.com. It's very simple (in fact, it's sometimes too limited in both functionality and reporting depending on the client) and I (as a bookkeeper) am charged a very reasonable price per client on a sliding scale (the more clients I have the less I pay per client) which I can then mark up to cover costs. My clients also seem to like Paycycle since it's so simple to use.

Feel free to PM if you have further questions.

Leslie

I second QuickBooks. I teach it at a local college and I find it very user friendly.
