I recently read a bit about Google Apps...where they've developed a word processing program, spreadsheet and a presentation program similar to PowerPoint. It sounded like a good way to be able to share docs on online for multiple users. And I believe it's free for people with a google/gmail account.

Has anybody used this?

Hi

Yes it is free if have a google/gmail account I haven't had a chance to use it. It's called Google docs if you want to go see what it has to offer. They have a video on there that you can watch.

Funny, I saw Zoho in weekend newspaper today and I was about to share this with you all. You are a lot quicker than me LOL. Looks like Zoho has a lot of good resources.

I have been using Google Docs for a while. I tried the Microsoft live and it was to much hassle. With Google you can view edit and save docs instantly as well as uploading and downloading files to your computer right on the screen. It is easy to organize and you can invite others to share. With Microsoft in order to edit a document you have to open up excel or word to edit. On the other hand Microsoft can be automatically connected to all office apps including outlook which is nice to have your contact lists available.

Looks great but....
I don't want to be the outcast here but aftering viewing some information, I would be questioning exactly what your cost would be for this service. First of all, they don't have a Price Listing for all their services and some that I looked at gave me the impression that you would be nickled and dimed after a while.

Take the CRM option - you can get some free features - okay, but then if you exceed your limit for storage space it's $$$, if you want Outlook Plug-ins it's $$$$, if you want to retrieve your data it's more $$$$ and not to mention you are already paying a monthly service fee and all the extra's are based upon a monthly charge also.

I think it would be more benefical to purchase a CRM product that you own and you can get 'Enterprise' additions that allow you access it from remote locations.

This is just my personal view and I was disappointed when I started figuring out all costs that could add up.

I personally think that Zoho is great! I am currently loving CRM and the People Management tools

Has anyone tried the online test centre that they got too?
