Default Office Scanner Machine
Hello everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. I'm stuck with a cold from the weather change here in Florida! Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any scanner software that is easy to use.

The one I currently have you have to load one document and the file is saved as JPG document. I would rather have a scanner that accepts three sheets of paper (similiar to a copier) and it scans into a ZIP file on a USB drive or something similiar.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance and have a great day!

Are you using your printer to do your scanning? If so, you should be able to tell it what kind of document you want to save it as. I don't know about making it into a zip file though. On mine, you can save it as a TIF, JPG, or PDF and some others.

It only allows scanning of one page at a time but I just bought another printer that has auto feed so it will take multiple pages at once and put them all into one file in whatever format I choose. I then can use zip software to zip it.

I'm in the same boat as Kimberly with a multi-function printer; and then I just move and zip files manually - I don't do that much with paper anyway (*maybe* a few times a year ) so haven't done much investigation into scanner technology.

I'll be curious to know what you come up with though!
