Default MP4 to DVD
Hi All,

I have an MP4 of a client's conference. He needs this burned to a DVD and sent out via USPS rather than doing a file transfer online.

What's the trick to burn a DVD these days? I'm drawing a blank... I'm working in windows, not on a mac.

Thank you!

Jill,

I use Nero but there are many other brands out there. Check your programs to see if when you purchased your computer what they installed. Rhapsody, a client of mine is using to burn CD/DVD's. Maybe others can give you other software packages.

Hi Leona,

Thanks for you fast reply. I have quicktime, real player, and windows media player. I just burned it to a CD, but it only transferred the audio, not the video. I need to transfer the file as is so the client can view the video as I see it on my computer. I want to burn to a DVD, not a CD, but I'm not sure if I have to convert from MP4 to another file type.

Thanks!
Jill

OMG... it was as simple as drag and drop. I dragged the file from a folder on my hard drive to the dvd.

You can tell it's late on a Monday!
