A professional business group wants a membership software to manage various aspects of the group. What they want are: ability to post meetings/luncheons/event with sign up for the event with charge card and Paypal access. Membership data management including new member sign up form.
I have looked at several nonprofit sites including etapestry.
Does anyone know of a low cost software either to purchase or in the cloud.

Hi Janet, I've heard great things about WishList - it's a paid software you can use to turn any WordPress blog into a membership site. The features are pretty robust as well and I think would encompass all that your clients are looking for and more.
I haven't worked with WishList personally, but have heard positive feedback from more than a few VAs. I hope this helps!

I also would go with Wishlist. It's a fab plugin that turns your current wordpress site into a membership site. You can control what content you want public and what content you want restricted to the memebership side.
It automatically creates login details and integrates with paypal for easy payments. I love it! so easy and very powerful.
Yep you've got to pay for it, but it's great! and I wouldn't go for a freebie one for such a big project
