I have a client that is a mental health specialist, and I need to find a software database for both of us to be tracking her clients - when they are seen, notes about appointment scheduling, insurance info, etc.
We are currently using Google Calendar to schedule the appointments (No client identifying information is posted, just first name and last initial), and we would like to include notes that carry over to the next appointment, such as that a reminder call was done on X date, client called back to reschedule, etc.
Our challenge is that every time a new appointment is scheduled, of course, there is nothing tying the original appointment information to the next appointment.
What software are others using? Specifically as a client management tool for health professionals that need HIPPA compliance?
She has a VERY old version of Medisoft, but I haven't worked with or seen it before. From what I understand, it is stand-alone software, so I could remote access into it, but that might cause problems while she is using during appointments...
