Default Logmein Question
Hello all,

I am new at this and I finally got my first client. She wants me to set up her contact manager in Outlook which is not a problem. I was going to enter in the information into Excel and then import the contacts that way.

I need to be able to remotely log in to her computer when she is not using it. I know that I can use Logmein for this, but how do I set up the software on her computer so that I can log in under my free account to access her computer? I am going to her place for a meeting so I thought that I could log in under my account and download the software that way. Is there a easier way to do this? Maybe I am not seeing it.

I guess it would be good to know in the future for clients that I am unable to go and load the software on their computer. I don't want to be giving my account information out to various people for many reasons.

Any insight or help would be great!

Thanks

Maybe I'm not understanding your situation clearly, but as far as I know if the client installs LogMeIn on her computer and sets permissions for you to access then you're all set.

If I've misunderstood what you're asking, can you please clarify?

I was planning on using remote login for some of my work as well, so thanks for asking the question! I was planning on having my clients set up remote login on their own as part of my "getting started" package, if they require remote login?

I went to her house and logged into my LogMein account and downloaded the software on her computer so that I can use my free account. If not then I would give her directions on how to log into my account and download the software. I would change my password on my account for when she logs in, I hope that this helps ginamkd.
