Default On-line calendar
Hello,

I have a client that is looking for an on-line calender that I can add her appointments to and then she can download into her Blackberry. I'm assuming she is synching her Blackberrt through Outlook, although I'm not sure yet. I'm meeting with her next Tuesday about this project, and I wanted to be prepared. I'm currently looking at www.airset.com. Any other suggestions?

I've heard that Blackberry syncs with Google Calendar - might be worth checking out.

Another one that is free and syncs with Outlook (not sure about Blackberry) is Office.com

Google calendar is great. It syncs with Outlook and any phone, blackberry or I-Phone. I have used Airset, it will sync with Outlook 2003 and older.

I use ShareO with my clients. This is not a free program, but worth the $3 per month (total about $35 per year). This allows you and a client to share not only calendars but also emails and files in your outlook. You could have version 2003 and your client could have 2007 or vice versa. You can set up separate folders to share with your client.

There is a free 14 day trial so you can see how it works. You could share with someone you know - they would have to have the program as well - to see how it works. The trial version is pretty much fully functional - I believe the only thing it does not allow is for sharing of emails / calendars farther back than a week. The website is http://shareo.4team.biz.

Best of luck to you in your meeting.

Two more to throw in the ring.

It's not free, but it's a great program that will send you an appointment attachment for Outlook. It's http://www.appointmentquest.com. This allows clients to schedule themselves into your calendar. I use it to have potential clients pick a time for their appointments. You just add a link to your website and they schedule themselves in. You also trap their contact information.

If your client also is into online networking, Plaxo (http://www.plaxo.com) is an awesome online calendar system that (for free) will sync with Outlook. I think you have to upgrade to sync with your Blackberry, but you can sync with just about anything using Plaxo. AND they have a social network they are building that allows you to share your contact information with other business people. Fun and very beneficial.

Create a great day!
Kristen
