Google Calendar
Have you checked out Google's calendar yet? I have been using it to some extent but since signing on here (with all of the free teleconferences) I've finally been able to begin filling it up! Also, you can have Google send you an email (or pop-up) reminder in a selected time before the scheduled event.

This link is www.google.com/calendar

If you use a different calendar program (or system) what is it? I'd love to know what works for you!

I've always used Yahoo! calendars. (I went through an anti-Google phase )

They have a reminder service, you can set it to repeat, etc. - so I have client and family birthdays, annivesaries, etc. in there. Plus it's a great way to keep track of things that have to be done on a regular basis but irregular schedule.

But looking now at Google's calendar I'm a bit jealous... It looks to be more advanced, and is certainly much prettier. Thing is, at this point I've got a good portion of my 'life' in Yahoo! so would have to hire a virtual assistant to move it all over for me!

Did you know our events have a reminder service of their own? In the calendar itself - the link in the top menu, OR at the way way bottom of the front page when you're logged in - you'll find a listing of events. Click the one you are interested and in side that listing is a 'send me a reminder' link - then you just set it to remind you according to your preferences.

I tried the events reminder the other day but got an error. It may have been my pc (usually is! lol...time for an upgrade).

Hmmm...do you recall what kind of error?
We did have some issues with our server this past week - it could have been related to that...everything got *really* slow for a short while...but should be OK now.

Nope, I can't recall right now. I'll try to set up a reminder right now and let you know what happens!

I used to use Yahoo, but have found Google to be much easier (and, as Tess put it) prettier. I am pro-Google anything though! lol

I use Google Calendars quite a lot and I have also added in a few Calendars for clients to enable me to do diary management. You can select calendars to see at any given time and you can have them all shown also, which can sometimes be a bit confusing, I suppose it all depends on how many you have - I have 4 calendars in the one at the moment.
