Hi All,

My client is a Real Estate broker. He is looking for a program that allows him to add in his clients information and then whenever he would like to have it mail out letters either virtually or via the postal service. Kind of like Send Out Cards, only with informative letters and such. Thanks to anyone who knows of this type of program!

I believe you are referring to an autoresponder program such as Aweber, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp or similar. Each offer a free trial and Mail Chimp offes a free for life (up to 500 contacts, perhaps) program. There are limitations.

If you search VAF here in the category Email and Newsletter Marketing there are several suggestions for free and low cost.

If that is not what you were looking for, please let me know and I'll come up with something else.

Thank you for the quick response and ideas. I am going to check them out. I think the key thing is that the mail is addressed and mailed out from that company. I don't know if you are familiar with SOC but you do a mailing campaign with cards and they print them, stuff them, and mail them to the addressee. I think this is the same concept he wants, only to use it for letters. I believe he already has a way to send email marketing. This is for a physical mailing. Thanks! I hope you know of something!

The USPS used to include this service on their page but now it has moved to it's own. You can upload address lists, send letters, postcards, certified, priority mail and much more. It is pretty easy to use as it walks you through the steps. The prices are pretty reasonable when you take into consideration supplies, ink and postage.

I've used USPS for postcards, letters and flyers and they work great! And the quality printing is very good too. You upload your own document and they do the rest. Be sure to give yourself enough lead time once you upload it though. They used to have a two day turnaround but now offer one day. I still shoot for the two day, though.
