I heard of Snag It but never of these others, I havent had a use for it either yet because I usually use the old fashioned Print Screen but I know it will come in handy someday, thanks!
Jing Project by Tech Smith is awesome!! I love it. I can select how much of the screen I want to capture and then I can use the tools to add notes, add arrows etc. It is free but they have a pro version that you can do more with.
I also use Screenhunter but most of the time I just press the Print Screen button on my keyboard and open up the Paint program and paste it there. From there I can cut, edit the image. If I need to do some complicated resizing then I will paste it to Photoshop.
