Hi all, I was doing a bit of research on the net and came across a few free Quickbooks program downloads - they are called 'Simple Start' and the 2007 version is available directly on the Intuit website. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with and/or opinion on these (as opposed to Pro). I'm assuming the functionality is greatly reduced being a free version...but I'm wondering if it offers enough to function for small business/home office accounting? __________________ Create a welcome packet for new clients with this guide and free templates! Tess - I will check it out and get back to you (probably this weekend) O.k. - in order to stop the brain damage from another project I checked out the Simple Start. This program is basically a glorified check register. You are MUCH BETTER purchasing a full version. Because you run a business, I recommend Pro because the reporting is better and there are bells and whistles in Pro that make it a more useful package. LOL Good to know, thanks Lily! I'm always on the lookout for free alternatives both for myself and to mention to other members, but in some cases it's not always the best possible option.
