Default CRM software
I'm looking into a CRM software to install on my computer and share data with one of my client. I looked at Miximizer (I used it before with a previous employer) which is great but you need to be on a network to be able to share data. Does anyone know of anything alse similar that could be used without network connections?

Genevieve,

Zoho has a CRM solution that is online which makes it easily accessible for both you and your client. I've been using Batchbook which has a lot of options (it's online as well) so many that I haven't had a chance to explore them all!

One feature I like is it syncs with my Google Mail Contacts and you can create your own forms which you can use on any website to capture lists which you can then sync with MailChimp....Nice...in opinion.

Thanks Renee for all your really good info. I'll look into it. I just installed Outlook Contact management and I'll see what that gives me but again I can't share the data if we're not on a network.

Are you in Canada? I saw your post on the Canadian board? By the way, the revenu Canada site you suggested is great, thanks. I think it might work because it also includes Quebec.

Yes, I'm located in BC. Zoho is very much like SalesForce and I think you can have up to three people accessing it and it's still free, but of course the free version has a couple of limitations.

You might want to search online as there might somewhat now with (Outlook 2010) Microsoft to sync online....they are making that move with the new updates. That is of course is Outlook works okay for you.

I used that payroll site all the time when I was managing my husband's payroll for his old business. It was only himself and myself that were on the payroll (it was a LTD company) so it worked great.

I am absolutely LOVING BatchBook. So much easier to use than other web-based CRM's!

Hi,
In our business, the CRM we use is tiolive. This is an online solution too. And you can share data with who you want, you just have to create them an access to your instance. (You can use it for free).

I would like to suggest Airset as an optional CRM. This site offers a free version as well as a paid version. I have been using the free version for about a year and a half (it was suggested to me by Hettwer_Virtual_Office. What a great suggestion - it syncs with any folder in Outlook - I use it with a client for calendar and contacts and it works great.

I am also trying out Relenta right now which is a CRM that also pulls in your email. Also, I'd just like to add that I've tried Airset and found it to be completely annoying.

I think I'll stay with Maximizer since I've used it before and there are features for Real estate agents. It's only $189 for 1 licence and doesn't require any monthly fees as it isn't web based. I'll access it through LogmeIn and manage my clients database remotely. I'm using Outlook Contact Manager for my own stuff. Thanks for your opinions!
