Default Aweber questions
Anyone experienced in Aweber? Is it not possible to insert a jpeg file?? When I go to insert a picture it wants a web location so I've found myself doing a one page website where I post the pic and use that url. Not very efficient for me or my client.

I also find it very difficult to work with sometimes. It feels as though it should be easier and I'm starting to doubt my own abilities.

Hi Marie,

Any images you want to insert into a message in Aweber have to be hosted online. You don't need to have them on an actual page online..just somewhere you can point to in your broadcast.

Here is a basic how-to on how to do this:
http://www.aweber.com/blog/articles-...ml-message.htm

While the directions say go to a website and right click on the image you want in order to find the location url..you can simply create a folder on your client's server called: aweber images, then upload the images to the folder. Then note the location of the image and use that in the broadcast. For example, let's say you have a site called: www.xyzpaper.com

Login to XYZ Paper's website server..create a folder called aweber images, upload an image called daisy.jpg. The location of the image would then be:
http://www.xyzpaper.com/aweberimages/daisy.jpg

That is your location url. You probably did all of these steps already when you created a web page..you simply just leave out the creating of the web page..that is not needed at all.

Aweber can be a annoying at times and some things can be improved. However, you can always call their toll-free number and speak with someone in their support if you have any questions. When I was first learning the program, I would call them up all the time. I sometimes still do!

Don't doubt your abilities, you can do so many things within Aweber..take it one step at a time!
