Default Audio Host Software
So I want to create a link on my blog for my podcast. Anyone have any suggestions for software to use to create a URL? I don't have a lot of money to put towards it but I don't want something cheap either. I've heard of one called podbean but other suggetions would be appreciated.

Collette, why not just upload to your own domain and host your files there for free? Then you just link up using an m3u file and voila!

I've heard of podbean too - not sure what Darlene uses for the A Virtual Perception Podcast, she might be a good one to ask!

Collette, I do exactly what Tess said. I host my audio files on my own webhost. Then post a link (using a player) on Wordpress. I actually am now using Wordpress.org and use a plug-in called Podpress.

Podbean is a nice alternative, however, if you do have your own hosting setup. The other place you can try is a service called Libsyn. http://www.libsyn.com/index.php?&mode=logout&message= There is a fee, it is not free, but very affordable.

Ok Darlene I took your advise and put the podpress plugin. Now I have to download the mp3 file to my host account?
