Default Import Contacts from Excel to Outlook 2007
Hi all:

I am having an issue uploading contacts from an excel (.xls) file to Outlook Contacts 2007. I follow the prompts and when I try to map the fields I cannot remove fields so they match the columns in the excel file. I tried entering additional columns so they match the mapping and still does not work. It seems to go through the process but nothing uploads and I do not receive a message, HELP MY CLIENT IS COMING OVER SOON TO PICK UP HIS LAPTOP WITH HIS NEW CONTACTS!!!!

Thanks
Donna

I am working on this type of project for a client now. I understand how to do this but have a quick question for anyone who has done this before. The spreadsheet I am working with has all the necessary columns already. But the name column consists of both first and last name. When I import this to Outlook will it give me a problem? Should the name column be two columns - first name, last name? I don't want to get all the way through this and find out I needed to split them up because Outlook requires two fields. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
