Yeah, Tracy brings up an interesting point. Among my contacts, one of the big benefits to Google+ is that it's much less cluttered than Facebook, and they especially like the lack of updates from corporate Pages.
I don't think this means Google+ will fail if/when it incorporates a solution for businesses. In fact, I think that it will need to welcome businesses in order to thrive. But if it wants to continue to differentiate itself by providing a more comfortable and fun user interface, it will need to take some lessons from what's happening on Facebook. I get a lot of value out of following Pages on Facebook, but I also enjoy the "clean" feeling of Google+, like it is a blank slate. I hope that Google+ will find a way to provide both!
