I'm happy to send an invite to anyone who wants one! Just send me a message with your email address and I'll fire it off to you.

Google has said that they're going to test the effect of allowing brands into Google+ with a small group before rolling it out to everyone. I think we just have to stay tuned!

I love Google+, I think it will be a lot more beneficial then Facebook is. I love that you can control your circles and who sees what without needing multiple accounts.

I'm also happy to send invites if anyone needs one.

I just started using Google+ or should I say signed up. I haven't actually done much in it. Created a few circles. Love the circles. Can't say much else about it at this point except I'm interested in getting into and learning more. Would be nice to have more control over my account than Facebook allows or should I say they make it more difficult to control. I would much rather allow things then have to go in and figure out how to not allow them if that makes sense.

Some more info about G+
I am still reading up on Google Plus, so this string of info has been interesting.

I wonder how this will affect the desirability factor of Google + for end users, remember when Facebook just ignored the businesses for a while and waited first for their membership to balloon.

Yeah, Tracy brings up an interesting point. Among my contacts, one of the big benefits to Google+ is that it's much less cluttered than Facebook, and they especially like the lack of updates from corporate Pages.

I don't think this means Google+ will fail if/when it incorporates a solution for businesses. In fact, I think that it will need to welcome businesses in order to thrive. But if it wants to continue to differentiate itself by providing a more comfortable and fun user interface, it will need to take some lessons from what's happening on Facebook. I get a lot of value out of following Pages on Facebook, but I also enjoy the "clean" feeling of Google+, like it is a blank slate. I hope that Google+ will find a way to provide both!

Has anyone tried a Hangout yet, for business?

I have a Google+ account, but I don't use it. When it comes to Google, I'm very hesitant about using any of their applications because they have a habit of dropping them when they decide to go in another direction. For example, I know a lot of bloggers used to use Google Friend Connect and had built massive followings with that particular application. Then Google decided to discontinue it and focus more on Google+. So what happens when Google+ doesn't pan out to be as popular as Facebook? I suspect Google will discontinue it and move on to something else.

Another problem I see is getting people to jump ship from Facebook to Google+. Business owners are all for new social networking opportunities, but everyday users tend to stay where they're most comfortable. Facebook is the social networking site where Google+ is just a spinoff application of a search engine company. I think I would rather strengthen my presence on Facebook and Twitter and not spend so much energy on Google+.

I'm not 100% sure about Google+. I created a profile and a few people have shown interest but aside from that, nothing else has happened, perhaps because I haven't put all that much effort into understanding how it really works...
