Default Twitter 101 for business (guide)

Hi all,
don't know if this has already been posted... a business guide from the twitter guys: http://business.twitter.com/twitter101.
A quick question: how do you deal with this "twinformation" overload? Do you schedule a certain time in the day for tweeting?

Have a nice day,
Alessandra (@alecalt )

I tweet about 1 hour a day. It like a break from working lol You get a lot out of talking with others as well as helping in establishing yourself as an expert in what ever field you are in.

Alessandra - Twitter's certainly a tempting distraction. But so are Facebook, LinkedIn discussions, the forums I follow, my RSS feed, and all the other enticing goodies on the internet.

My method is to have a daily schedule for all the necessaries of life, plus work, and if there's any leftover time, I can linger on the social networks. So it's usually late at night, after everything else is done.

Actually, I find the other social networking sites are a little less distracting, as you have a little more control on the information flow. For Twitter, I use Twitterfox... and sometimes I simply don't log on
It's important for me to keep up with social networking sites and tools, since this is one of the main areas I help other small businesses with. The more we go ahead, the more it seems to become a never-ending list. My rule is to pick the ones that work best for me and play around with the others, in my leftover time, when I'm just doing that... playing around! You never know where a good idea can come from!
Just curious to hear about other fellows VAs tweeting habits: I see busy professionals tweeting the whole day, say once every 10 min., I suppose they have a "ghost-tweeter"!

thanks for your answers!

Thanks for the link! I was looking for something like this. I am starting a new account for my business. I hope it will be useful.
