While you're waiting for your 25 fans on your FB page, you can go to TinyURL and create a very much shortened version of that looong FB url and even customize it by putting your business name on the end of it. Makes it a lot easier when you're trying to get people to your page!

(Would be nice if I could spell "Facebook" in the title of the thread, wouldn't it?!? LOL )

I am a huge fan of HootSuite and have a tab for my Facebook account in it. When I post, it has a field for shortening your link, using ow.ly. It's very handy.

With the hootsuite stuff, it has a shortener built in the application (ow.ly) where you can track your clicks, which ones are clicking better and where your clicks are coming from (like different countries), etc. The tracking tool there is really cool. And they have it so you can hook Twitter, Facebook Fan and Profile, LInkedin, Ping.fm, and others in there and you can post to everything in one click. You can save your posts as drafts to use later....you can schedule them....etc...I can go on.
