Default Social Networking: Can your company afford not to participate?
Many companies are still not sold on the idea of why they should incorporate social networking sites into their marketing campaigns. I recently wrote an article for TargetStars newsletter called Social Networking: Can your company afford not to participate? (http://tinyurl.com/dndhye) to address this issue.

This article discusses why companies should incorporate social networking into their campaigns and the benefits they are bound to receive from pursuing this form of marketing. Hope you enjoy the article and I would love to hear your thoughts!

Very well put together article. Thank you so much for sharing. You put together a great piece that can be used to nudge those clients that are on the fence about social networking, or just need a little more education on it. Great job, and thanks again.

Thanks for your kind words. I wrote this article because I kept coming across other articles bashing sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. From my experience, people tend to bash things without getting the facts so this article was written to inform people what social networking is all about and why they need to incorporate it into their campaign.

Thank you for providing this information. As my niche will be social media marketing, potential clients have to understand the importance of their presence on the web. I consider it the band wagon effect. Once they see that it works and every other business is doing it, they will find a way to utilize these tools.

There really isn’t a reason for companies not to be utilizing these tools. They are great!

There are a lot of social media resources, do you network on the most used media forums or all of them?

I belong to the most used social networking sites and forums. It is hard to keep up with all the sites out there and find it easier to use the sites with the most people and those within my industry.

I have to agree with you. These social networking sites are dynamite! I've also made many a friend through them.

They are great! I have made a lot of friends with people I otherwise never would have had the chance to meet.

LaTosha -
Thanks for sharing this article. It's actually helping me to understand the importance of social networking better. I, too, have hesitated about using it fully. Definitely thinking different now.
