Great blog post Erin!!

If you have Hootsuite, you can do that with it too. Just put in your ping.fm account and you can schedule right from there. I love scheduling things like quotes or events I have coming up or that my clients have.

I didn't think you could schedule with ping. I looked into that a little a bit ago. Or do you mean schedule through hootsuite?

There is another option that gives you 100 scheduled posts per month but they add something at the end of your message and I don't like that. Its sendible.com You can check that out too. They have a paid version that will remove the adds. This could be valuable for a VA with lot of social media clients and they handle the postings. If the client ever leaves you they won't have the history, just something to keep in mind.

Yeah Hootsuite added that as an update. But you can bring in your ping account and do the scheduling through hootsuite. You should check it out.

With Hootsuite, when you schedule it with Ping. Once it goes out, you do have the history of the pings you send out, just like if you sent it from Ping.fm, itself. So, if the client leaves, and they have access to the account, they can see the "recent posts" history.

There is also a WordPress plug-in for sending blog posts to Twitter. You can schedule your post and have a Tweet go out automatically.
