I am enjoying finding different ways to work with twitter. As I now have my followers grouped into different lists - as my business is multi-faceted. VA, promoting private air charter and just keeping local people updated on events in our area - how do I tweet to just one list at a time? Any ideas? Thank you.

To my knowledge you cannot tweet to a just a list or to just a specific group of people. Typically, most people would just create separate Twitter accounts for this purpose that way you can follow and interact with people who are interested in each of your different businesses. I have several accounts that I use for different reasons and that follow completely different types of people.

You could create a specific hastag for your different types of tweets then as you use them over time, your followers would know to look out for tweets with those tags. They would also be able to track your tweets over the past few days by just clicking on that tag in your most recent tweet.

So, for instance, for VA tweets, you could use a hashtag of #VA and for your local events you could do #local or #yourtown.
