New Facebook Fan Page - Virtual Assistant Forums

I believe I finally got my facebook fan page- and not the group set up on facebook! Please join my page- and for those of you who would like me to join there's, please post your link, and I would be happy to join! Thanks for all the support and advice in this forum, you all are the best!

Hum, okay, now, is there a way I can link my business page, with my personal page, so I can work on both at the same time, and not lose track of my business page??

I am still dabbling in Facebook and have not tried the Fan Page thing, yet. I became a fan of yours so I can follow your progress and learn as you go.

I have my business page saved as a bookmark on my toolbar. So I can just get to it with one click. You can also use the application to get a web address short enough that you can type it in quickly.

Oh........btw...I put your page in my pages favorites!!

Karen- thatz a great idea, hope I don't mess up though, and confuse you! I worked on that page for about 3 hrs the other day, and I'm not sure if it is still correct!

Rebecca- thanks! I will add yours to mine as well, my computer is slow tonight because I am at my mom's house (in the middle of nowhere) with a verizon wireless usb, so its not connecting like I wanted to...this is my first time trying this at my mom's house...just out of curiousity to see how fast the verizon wireless connection would be..and well..i'm not liking the results! But I will add yours to mine, as soon as I get back to having a fast internet connection!!

I became a fan today. I haven't figured out how to get the "become a fan" on my page yet!

LIsa, you have to create a "Business Page" not a personal profile. Once you do that others can become fans or they can add your page to their pages favorites (Which is what I do). If you need to create a business page here are some tips:

On the Log in page-underneath the line where you create your create it says "To create a page for a celebrity, band or business, click here." Click that, then it takes you to the create page where you fill out the information. I did Local and picked "Professional Services" (but you can choose Organization and still choose "Professional Services". Type in the Name of your business, click the box that says you are authorized to create this account, type your name in the box and click "Create Page" Click that you have a facebook account (if you have one, if you create two and they find out, you will be banned!). Then you can type in all the info for your page.

Others may have a different way of doing it...but that is how I do it. Some lose their page after they create it. The easiest way to not "lose" it is to put the "wall" of your business page in your favorites. So you can get back to it in a click.
