Ok I am new to this social marketing thing. And to be honest it confuses me I just don't get it. Anyway I can not figure out how to "like" any of you? Any help pointers anything would be great.

Hi Stephanie - there is a great thread on this site about creating a Facebook fan page (as opposed to your personal one) - and on that page, you can promote your business - it's another great way to network. When you've done it, visit the page, then cut and paste the URL (the bit at the top of the screen beginning http://) into your message. The URL is simply the unique address for your page.

To view the pages in this message - log in facebook, and then click on the link (or cut and paste it into your browser).

Yes, Lacie is right, you only need 25 "Likes" to claim your unique URL by going to http://facebook.com/username

Also, if you don't have a unique URL yet, here is a good way to get the URL for your page:
Go to your page,
Click Refresh for your Browser,
This is the link you need. It should look something like this:
"http://facebook.com/pages/yourpagetitle/1234556676" or it might look like this:
"http://facebook.com/pages/yourlocation/yourpagetitle/12324698079"

It should not have the word "profile" or "ref" or "referral" in it.
