I just created my FaceBook page. I would love for you guys to stop by and fan/like/friend it and give me any pointers/tips that you can. It is still a work in progress but I am just excited to finally have it up. I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi Lacie,
This is a great start. I do see you added the FBML application but I recommend you go in and change the title from FBML, to something else...something like "How We Can Help" or if it's going to be it's own tab, then the title will also be the name of the tab, so you could use it as your landing tab and title it "Welcome".

Also, I like the image you are using, which has a call to action to click it to find out more, but it's not clickable. There is no link attached to the image. Again, this is something you can do when editing the FBML box.

Kimberly, how would I be able to change the name of the tab and hook up the link. Do you happen to know? I tried to change the tab but it was not cooperating with me.

Go to Edit Settings on your Fan Page. Look for the FBML app, click "Edit" underneath the app name, then when the FBML edit window comes up, where it says "Box Title" put in the title you want to use.

I do see the potential for great marketing with businesses with Facebook. I noticed a lot of small businesses around where I am at use Facebook to connect with clients so I am going to try connecting with the small businesses.
