Another neat social media resource I discovered and wanted to share is
InboxQ - their tagline is
Find people asking questions about things you know and that's exactly what it does.
Hook it up to your Twitter account, set keyword parameters for search and it'll return real time results of people tweeting those keywords/questions. It basically returns any tweet that has your keyword(s) and a question mark - but it's a great way to locate twitter users who are asking questions YOU are qualified to answer.
The InboxQ interface is a bookmarklet that drops down to a little widget where you can read the latest tweets relative to your keywords and respond directly from there. It also lets you view someone's profile info, and adjust settings for keyword returns based on quality vs. quantity.
All in all a really neat way to reach out to your target market by providing answers/expertise in response to questions that might otherwise go unanswered.
I like the way this is set up - it's basically plug and play, which is always nice. And it's pretty intuitive.
Would love to know if anyone else is using this and what your thoughts are!
