I found out about this by accident, and then I attended a webinar explaining how it would work with marketing your business. Interesting. I signed up for this; I wanted to see if I could work with this new software. It has potentials. I haven't decided if I would use this for an additional form of marketing my business. One draw back is the images you use on board must be take from a website, no upplaods from your compiuter.

Phyllis, actually you can upload images from your computer...I do it all the time because I prefer to use pictures I take when possible. I also pin images from my website and blog so I can have links back to my business stuff. Most of what I have on there is business-related, but I do have a few personal categories. I don't expect any work directly from Pinterest, but more just for a little fun and to be able to have another source for links back to my website and blog.

I got an account yesterday, but I'm not sure I'm going to use it a lot. When I assess a new app, I look for the HELP; and I couldn't find it. I think it's difficult to set up. But I also know I need to give it some time. I do think it has more marketing potential than either facebook or myspace.

As someone who is very visual I loved the concept of Pinterest since I first saw it and created an account. However, I too didn't realize until recently that it could certainly be used for business. Right now I have it around to just show about of my personality. I am currently focusing on learning about Twitter but I definitely want to start learning more about using Pinterest. Great point! I'm excited to see what people say.

I am addicted to Pinterest and much prefer pinning items than bookmarking them. My thoughts as this medium grows more websites will offer pinning as an option just as they do Facebook, Twitter, and Google+1. Unlike those sources, though, these are neatly organized so a person can refer to them over and over again. As a VA newbie, I am continually researching. I pin blogs and articles which I feel will benefit me in creating my VA business.
