I am still learning Facebook and am having problems with my comments showing up on the page.

All I see is one comment made by a family member to me, but my comments back to them nor new comments (made by me) are not showing up. What do I need to do to have my comments show up on the wall?

LinkedIn, how do I set up a company page? I tried yesterday and it gave me an error message. I emailed LinkedIn, but have not heard back. Do I need a new email address from the profile or can I use the same email address for the company page?

On LinkedIn, my company page was set up when I changed where I work and added it as my current employment.
How did you go about setting up the company page?

I've never heard of the responses to a wall posting not appearing. Are you sure you are posting on the wall versus a direct message?
Are you looking for the wall post on your profile or the other person's?
Whoever first posted, the thread will be their profile. It also should show up on your profile news feed as well. Is the comments not showing on just one profile?

Hi Kim,

Thank you for your reply. I tried adding the company as current job -- I almost thought it was going to work and let me create a company page, but nope

. It gave me the error message of can't create a company page at this time, please contact CS. Which I did. Hopefully they will get back to me soon.

It wouldn't be because the LinkedIn profile is new? Hmm, strange...

On the Facebook issue, I am posting on the wall. And I am looking for the comment on my profile. I have a business page, not a personal one. It is any comments that I try and post on my wall.

I will keep trying.

I have a linkedin profile also. It is considered a personal profile, but I have my business name first then my name. I did however receive an email from a connection saying that it I'm not suppose to do it that way. But, it's working for me.

Hi!

You can create a company by clicking on the company tab and then on the top right add a company. After you enter all the details, you can go back into your profile and see if your company will appear when you try to change your current position and company (drop down menu). It took a few days for my company to show up before I could change it. LinkedIn can take up to a week to answer so don't be surprised.

Teressa, you should keep your name without your company name in it and just add your company the way I mentioned.

Thank you for your reply. On the LinkedIn issue, I am still waiting and getting the same error. I am glad to know that I am not the only one.

On facebook, I did a business page. I have no personal page. So did I start Facebook off wrong? I thought you could only have a business page & not a personal one too. Everyone's business pages look so great --- but mine

. It should not be this hard to work Facebook.

Is there a Facebook for business for dummies? LOL

Yes, I'm afraid you did it wrong! You need a personal profile and then create your business page. You don't have to link your page to your profile and you can keep all your personal stuff personal with privacy settings. In my opinion, it's really difficult to get "likes" on a page if you're not public in some ways. Check this article for some great tips on how to get started with Facebook Marketing.
